Hello. My name is Marek. I live in Poland, in a little town. I am a happy husband and father.

I don’t remember why I got on the bike, but I remember when. It was 1. September 2017 and… and I got addicted to cycling. Of course, I rode a bike before but not so systematically. Not so systematically like now.

I like to ride a bike in the early morning. Alone. l need while of silent and peace. I need the sunshine and the empty paths without companions, without conversation, face to face with myself, with only the rhythm of my heart for company. Then the mind fills with pure energy.
After the ride, I can go to the work… I am a dentist.

I also like to ride in the company. I do it relatively rarely. In a group it is difficult to feel free. But it’s fine, I admit.

Photography is my second passion. I try to capture emotions. I try to capture the ambience of the moments. I try to capture the beauty around us.
Photography for me is not looking. It’s feeling. It’s the same with the cycling – it’s not just pedaling. It’s getting freedom.

I’m very glad that I can join to the Solitude Seekers CC.
As Honore de Balzac said: „Solitude is fine, but you need someone to tell that solitude is fine.”
